Measure around your dogs neck to get your dog's actual neck size.  Purchase a training collar that is three inches larger than your dog's neck.   For proper use, slide the chain through one of the metal rings.  While facing your dog form the collar into the shape of a "P".  Slide the collar carefully over the dog's head.  Attach a leash and you are ready to walk.   This collar is not to be used when training with a leash.  It is NOT recommended to be left on unattended dogs.
